Teams play each other once at home and once away from home in group stage. 2 points for a win or 1 point each for a tie at 60 minutes.
Teams finishing 1st in Group A plays team finishing 2nd in Group B and team finishing 1st in Group B plays team finishing 2nd in Group A, home and away, in the Semi-finals.
The two winning semi-finalists play home and away for the Challenge Cup.
N.B. Some Challenge Cup games are also played as Elite League games and points count for both apart from extra point from overtime/penalty win which only counts for Elite League.
