The Dundee Stars are delighted to announce captaincy for the 2017/18 EIHL season.
This season the Stars will be captained by Chris Lawrence, with Johan Andersson and Joey De Concilys sporting the ‘A’ on their jerseys.
General Manager Omar Pacha commented, “I am glad for Chris. He has been a great influence on the group since his arrival. Even when he is injured he is always there for his teammates. During his limited time on the ice he proved to be a solid leader and the guys identified that from the get go”.
Omar continued, “Johan and Joey D have been terrific on and off the ice for the team as well. I believe the players made the right choices. There are few other guys that were considered too and that’s a good thing as it shows we have good characters and leaders on the team”.
