The Kitmart Dundee Stars are delighted to welcome Forfar based Andrew Soutar Stove Installations for a 2nd season as corporate sponsor.

Andrew Soutar commented “We are proud to continue our sponsorship of the Dundee Stars. This will be our 2nd year as a sponsor and will also be our 1st year as season ticket holders which we are really excited about.”

As a small family business within the Angus/ Tayside area the partnership has been great advertising for us. We look forward to the coming season and would definitely encourage others to purchase their season tickets and/or enquire about sponsorship opportunities.”

On a personal note we had a great time getting to know our sponsored player last season – Brett Stovin. Brett shared many of the same interests as us including hiking and exploring our beautiful countryside.”

Brett was desperate to try a bit of winter hiking so he set out one snowy day with Katie Soutar and our German Shepherd pup. They were only gone a couple of hours when they appeared home (Brett looking a bit worse for wear). He had fallen in a bog up to his waist, he was muddy and frozen much to Katie’s amusement.”

Needless to say they waited for the better weather to complete the hike. Brett also very kindly visited a local animal charity with us that we support and gave up some of his own time to help out.”

We really tried to support the Stars and Brett on the ice too by attending as many games as possible and now look forward to making every home game next season.”

The support of our fans, sponsors and corporate partners during these unprecedented times, is hugely invaluable, to progress the club on and off the ice, the sport in the city and surrounding areas.”
