The Kitmart Dundee Stars can confirm that François Bouchard has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to injury.
François picked up a groin injury at our game against Nottingham Panthers on 18 January. Following a range of medical scans, the club have been informed that the extent of the injury rules François out of action for 3-6 months.
General Manager Omar Pacha commented, “it is really unfortunate to lose François for the remainder of the season. He was a crucial part of this team and stepped up to be a key individual on and off the ice. It is a disappointing part of sport, however as a team we will continue to work hard to make our goal of the playoffs”.
François will continue to be a pivotal catalyst in our playoff pursuit, aiding head coach Omar Pacha with different duties on and off the ice.
