Defenseman, Sean Allen will leave the Trade-Mart Dundee Stars with immediate effect after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract.
Sean has played a key role on the team this season but for personal reasons will not be able to complete the season here in Dundee.
Allen joined the club this summer from ECHL side, Cincinnati Cyclones and went on to appear 32 times for the Stars, scoring four points and totalling 121 penalty minutes.
The club are actively searching for a replacement.
