Welcome to this week’s instalment of the Dundee Stars A-Z series. Today, we bring you all of the players in Stars history, whose names begin with the letter ‘T’.

PLAYERS

Tanaka, Cale – Was a Star for just one season and in the 2016-2017 Elite League campaign, the Canadian featured in 58 games, scoring 16 times and was also involved in 30 more goals. Tanaka since went on to stay in Britain and play for the likes of Braehead Clan, Solway Sharks and Milton Keynes Lightning.

 

 

Thompson, Mark – Played with the Stars for just one season and in the 2003-2004 British National League campaign, Thompson played in 46 matches, scoring once and assisting on 15 more goals.

Topping, Daniel – Played for the Stars on 10 occasions between the 2008-2009 and 2012-2013 seasons. The Scot has since been icing with the Dundee Comets and Dundee Tigers, most recently.

Traversa, Tommaso – Joined the Stars for the 2016-2017 season but only played 12 games before departing but in that time, the Italian contributed 5 points.

Trofimenkoff, David – Had been in the UK four years prior to joining the Stars for the 2003-2004 season. The Canadian shotstopper had previously iced with Paisley Pirates, Ayr Scottish Eagles, Manchester Storm and London Knights and would also play with Edinburgh Capitals after his year in Dundee. During his 46 games in goal for the Stars, Trofimenkoff had a regular season save percentage of .896 and a goals against average of 3.72.

Turner, Brennan – Defended the Dundee blueline for the 2011-2012 Elite League season and the Canadian played a total of 62 games for the club and amassed 25 points in his only year in the UK.

 

 

Turon, David – Came to Dundee ahead of the 2015-2016 season and defended the blueline for most of the campaign before leaving in the January. The Czech defenseman made a total 47 appearances for the club and recorded 20 points, including 6 goals.
