Ice hockey is coming to the biggest indoor arena in Scotland.

This Hogmanay, the MKM Dundee Stars are heading to the OVO Hydro for a huge celebration of ice hockey.

Four teams. Three huge regular season games. The Largest Ice Hockey Attendance in Scottish History.

Dundee Stars, Glasgow Clan, Fife Flyers and Belfast Giants will take to the ice at one of Scotland’s biggest entertainment venues, bringing ice hockey to a stage like never before.

SEASON TICKET HOLDER INFORMATION

Do I need to pay for my seat?
No. All MKM Dundee Stars season ticket holders can claim their seat for free as part of their season ticket.

Can I choose any seat in the Hydro?
Your available seating tier depends on your existing Dundee Stars season ticket.

Seating season ticket holders can claim a seat in Tier 1.

Standing season ticket holders can claim a seat in Tier 2.

Your Hydro seat does not have to match the position of your Dundee Ice Arena seat. If you are allocated Tier 2, you can choose any available Tier 2 seat.

Can I upgrade from Tier 2 to Tier 1?
No. Due to limitations with the ticketing platform, season ticket holders must claim a seat within their allocated tier.

Can I bring family and friends?
Yes. Season Ticket Holders can purchase additional tickets during the dedicated Season Ticket Holder pre-sale window for family and friends.

The pre-sale opens on Wednesday 26 August and closes on Monday 31 August.

How long do I have to claim my seat?

Season Ticket Holders will have 6 days to claim their season ticket seats.
After this window closes, any unclaimed seats will be released for general sale.

How do I claim my seat?

You will receive a unique code linked to your season ticket. This code must be entered on the Ticketmaster website to unlock your ticket allocation.

I have multiple season tickets. Do I need a code for every seat?

No.

Your unique code will unlock the number of tickets associated with your email address.
For example, if one email address was used to purchase six season tickets, the code sent to that email address will unlock all six ticket allocations.

I bought a season ticket for a family member and transferred it to their email address. Who will receive the code?
The code will be sent to the email address currently associated with the season ticket.

YOUR VISIT

Is there parking?
Yes. The main car park for the OVO Hydro is the multi-storey car park at 10 Stobcross Road, Glasgow, G3 8GS.
The car park is open 24 hours, but parking charges apply. The car park has a 2m height restriction.

Is there a drop-off and pick-up area?
Yes. There is a free, manned drop-off and pick-up area at the west of the SEC Centre, accessed via Stobcross Road.
The area allows a flexible 30-minute stay and is available from one hour before doors open.
A covered walking route connects the drop-off area to the OVO Hydro through the SEC Centre, taking approximately three minutes.

Will there be food and drink available?
Yes. There will be a range of food and drink options available to purchase throughout the OVO Hydro.
Tap water is also available free of charge on request from food and beverage outlets.

How do I get to the Hydro by train?
The OVO Hydro has a dedicated railway station, Exhibition Centre, providing easy access from Glasgow city centre and surrounding areas.
Frequent trains run between Glasgow Central, Argyle Street and Exhibition Centre stations.

The best way by train is to travel to Queen Street Station and then make your way to Central Underground to Exhibition Centre.

The Exhibition Centre station has a lift to street level, with a covered walkway connecting the station to the SEC campus.

Is the OVO Hydro accessible?
Yes. The OVO Hydro has accessible entrances and facilities throughout the venue.

The East and West entrances are designated accessible entrances, while the first two floors of the OVO Hydro concourse are accessible by lift.
Dedicated accessible seating is available within the arena bowl, including wheelchair and ambulant accessible positions.

What time do doors open?
Doors open times can vary depending on the event.
Hockey at the Hydro door opening times will be confirmed closer to the event.

On Wednesday 30th DecemberAfter game 1 Dundee Stars V Fife Flyers the OVO Hydro will be cleared in readiness for game 2.

Tickets for ALL Stars fans will be required to be purchased for game 2 and game 3 on 31st December as these are deemed Glasgow Clan home games.

Fans of Dundee Stars who are NOT season ticket holders will be required to buy tickets for game 1, MKM Dundee Stars V Fife Flyers at 3pm on 30th December.

THE SCOTIA SERIES
Three games. Three Scottish teams. Two trophies.

The Scotia Series is a brand-new competition bringing together the Glasgow Clan, Dundee Stars and Fife Flyers across three games over the festive period.

Points will be awarded across the first fixture on 23 Deecmber in Kirkcaldy, Fife Flyers v Glasgow Clan, with the 30 and 31 December clashes at the OVO Hydro serving as the deciders to lift the trophy.

These games at the OVO HYdro will determine the winner of the Scotia Series, while the Stars and Clan will also battle it out for the Caledonia Quaich.
