The Kitmart Dundee Stars would like to outline measures it has taken to minimise the ongoing issues concerning COVID-19 virus.

In response to current health advice, the club will look to limit player appearances and Stars in the Community activities temporarily to minimise the risk of the virus potentially spreading, as we aim to protect the ongoing well-being of staff, players, fans and their families

As a result we will have to cancel Friday night’s Quiz night and the end of year Player of the Year awards night. We also ask that fans do not wait around for photos and autographs pre or post game and no photos will be permitted on the ice at the end of the game for the remainder of the season.

As a community club, we have not taken these decisions lightly and understand the importance of fan and player interaction, we regret any inconvenience these temporary measures may cause.

As everyone can appreciate the situation is changing on a hourly and daily basis. We fully expect the game on Sunday to go ahead as planned. We are continually monitoring the ongoing situation and we will be directed by government policy and decisions, with regards the remaining fixtures and playoffs.

We will bring news to fans, ASAP.

Thanks to all our fans for your continued support and understanding, at this unprecedented time.
