Kitmart Dundee Stars, defenseman and fan-favourite, Kyle Haas has insisted that finding some consistency will be key for the team, if they are to string together some wins on this weekend’s road trip.

The Canadian-born-German has told of how spirits have been lifted following last Saturday’s 7-0 scalding of Guildford Flames, but he also discussed the improvements the team are still trying to make.

He said: “The team are feeling good going into this weekend.

“There are still some things we are focusing on to keep developing as a team and I am sure they will show as the season progresses, as they have so far.

“Last weekend’s win against Guildford was another great sign but we need to be more consistent!”

Hass continued: “It is very important because one thing we have struggled with this year is consistency.

“We need to learn to keep building off wins and try to get a roll going and it all starts with practice during the week and that translates into the games.”

With two difficult games ahead in Nottingham and Coventry against the Panthers and the Blaze, Haas has preached the importance of showing consistency in their performances.

He added: “Like I said before, we need to prioritise consistency and build off all the things we did really well in last Saturday’s win against Guildford.

“We are still short on bodies but slowly starting to see that the injured guys are healing well and will be back soon which will be another boost for us.”

Face-off times for this weekend’s two road matches are at  7pm in Nottingham on Saturday and 5:30pm in Coventry on Sunday.
