“First period we were okay, we had some chances,” said Marc LeFebvre reflecting on the loss. “We gave up a timely goal at the end of the first period, and that kind of rolled into the second.”

Dundee and Manchester have met twice already this season, with the Storm claiming both contests. The first encounter came in Altrincham, where Manchester edged out a 4-3 overtime win, before following up with a 4-1 victory two weeks later at the Dundee Ice Arena.
Matt Berry, Bradley Schoonbaert, Craig Moore and Morten Jürgens have all scored for the Stars against the Storm this season, while Manchester’s goals have come from Stephen Johnson, Joseph Nardi, Loren Ulett, Gary Haden, Brandon Cutler and Harrison Caines.

“The last three weeks, in the short term, have been horrendous for us,” LeFebvre added. “In the bigger picture though, in the five games we haven’t played against the big four clubs we’re 2-2-1, so there are some positives there.”
The Stars will once again be without defencemen Justin Bean and Kris Inglis, who remain sidelined with lower- and upper-body injuries respectively.
