Strong work along the boards by Morten Jürgens saw the Estonian international carry the puck behind the Clan net, where he sent a pass to Bradley Schoonbaert in close who fired the puck past Liam Soulière at 02:09 to make it 1-0.
Alex Forbes pulled a goal back for the visitors at 02:50, picking up a behind-the-net pass from Felix Pare and sliding the puck under Emil Kruse.
Glasgow took their first lead of the night at 13:03, as Deven Sideroff beat Kruse on the powerplay to make it 2-1.
Joe Hazeldine added a third at 17:53, pouncing on a rebound after Kruse made the initial save on a shot from the blue line.
Hugo Roy made it 4-1 at 26:07, redirecting a point shot by Hazeldine past Kruse.
Brady Risk made it 5-1 at 37:04, beating the Stars’ netminder with a onetimer from the high slot.
Robert Lachowicz rounded out the scoring at 54:16, converting on a breakaway past Kruse to make it 6-1.
