The MKM Dundee Stars couldn’t complete a comeback against the Clan, with Glasgow claiming two points in Dundee.

By Luke McGinnis

The Stars and Clan picked up where they left off in Dundee following a hard-fought battle in Glasgow just 24 hours earlier.

Tristin Langan opened the scoring at 09:40, forcing a turnover in the Stars’ zone and tapping the puck past Jarrett Fiske on the doorstep.

Daniel Tedesco doubled the visitors lead at 24:41, picking up a stretch pass from Langan to break away alone and slide the puck through the pads of Fiske.

Jason Fram made it 3-0 at 29:12 with a shot from the right circle which took an awkward bounce past Fiske.

After a bad change by the Clan, Spencer Naas made them pay, breaking in alone and beating Sami Aittokallio at 37:37.

Despite a late push in the third by the Stars with a number of quality chances, Glasgow held on, with Robert Lachowicz scoring an empty net goal to secure the two points for the Clan.
