Manchester scored the only goal of a back-and-forth first period through Brady Gilmour at 09:53. Tyler Hinam carried the puck into the Stars’ zone and fired from the high slot. Jarrett Fiske made the initial save, but the puck trickled through the netminder and Brady Gilmour was first to the rebound, slotting it home to make it 1-0.
Both teams had a powerplay during the opening frame, with Loren Ulett and Bradley Schoonbaert each assessed slashing minors. Neither side could capitalise, however, with the score remaining 1-0 heading into the first intermission.

Dundee began the second period on the penalty kill after Kris Inglis was assessed a delay-of-game penalty late in the first. However, the Stars were able to kill it off comfortably thanks to a strong defensive effort.
A faceoff win by Manchester in the Dundee zone set up Tyler Hinam, who wasted no time releasing a quick shot through traffic and into the Stars’ net at 31:56 to double the Storm’s lead.
Nick Welsh added a third just nine seconds later, beating Fiske off the rush at 32:07.
A hooking call on Ben Almquist proved costly for the Stars, as Loren Ulett converted on the ensuing powerplay with a shot from the point at 33:58 to make it 4-0.
Kameron Kielly got Dundee on the board late in the second period on the powerplay, tapping a loose puck past Drew DeRidder after the Storm netminder made a pad save on Spencer Naas at 39:45.

Gilmour scored the lone goal of the third period, his second of the night, finishing a two-on-one rush with a one-timer past Fiske at 53:59.
This defeat also officially eliminates the Dundee Stars from EIHL playoff contention.
