Tonight, we say farewell to one of our own, our #15
After seven seasons in Stars colours, Craig Garrigan will hang up his skates following this evening’s game.
From his first shift back in 2018 to his 429th appearance tonight, Craig has embodied everything it means to represent the Dundee Stars – commitment, pride, and relentless effort every single night.
A hometown hero living the dream, he has given everything for the Stars across his time with the club.
There have been countless memories along the way, but few will top that unforgettable double against the Nottingham Panthers – a moment that perfectly captured his determination and passion on the ice.

It’s never an easy decision to step away from the game, but we’re glad Craig has reached a place where he feels comfortable with that choice.
Craig has been a tremendous ambassador for the club and a true warrior on the ice. Off the ice, he has been a delight to work with – always giving his time for school visits, club videos, and even stepping up as the lead singer in more than a few Dundee Stars “boy bands.”
Craig leaves the game with the respect of teammates, staff, and fans alike, having carved out a career built on hard work, character, and heart.
Tonight, we celebrate the player… and thank Craig for the memories.
Thank you for everything, Craig and all the best for the future.
