The Dundee Stars are thrilled to welcome two new volunteers onboard as Gold Club Coordinators for the 2025-26 season

Dundee Stars fans Sean Guiden and Paula Wilson will volunteer over the next season and beyond to futher strengthen the Gold Club, they will plan events, assist in designing the next Gold Club jersey and Gold Club exclusive merchandise.

There will be a survey sent out by email to all fans in the coming days and we ask you take the time to complete and return your answers.

The Dundee Stars Gold Club launched during the pandemic to engage with the fans and ensure that the Dundee Stars survived any potential repercussions of no ice hockey.

The Gold Club had been in planning for a number of years prior to it’s launch with the objective to give our head coach, the additional funds to bring in a top class netminder, hence the reason why the Gold Club has always sponsored our starting netminder.

This season and seasons beyond this may be extended to include any other young brit netminder that the Stars will utilise throughout the season. Giving members potentially two chances to win game worn jerseys and game used sticks.

Moving forward the Gold Club will exclusively sponsor the current starting netminder while also enabling us to develop the Stars of the future.

Michael Ward commented “The response from the fans has been amazing since we launched the Gold Club in September 2020, with well over 100 fans joining in a short period of time. The numbers have fluctuted up and down over the last 4 and half years and we can’t thanks the members past and present enough for their amazing support.”

“The Gold Club has evolved over time and this is the next step in it’s evolution. With direct fan involvement, the Gold Club can be built by fans for fans, with the guidance and assistance from myself and everyone at the Dundee Stars.”

“We hope bringing in Sean Guiden and Paula Wilson as Gold Club Coordinators will drive the Gold Club onto new heights and bring added value for the club and for all members.”

Sean Guiden added “I am delighted to be working alongside Michael and Paula.”

“I believe we can introduce some fresh, creative ideas that will enhance the Gold Club experience. It’s an exciting time to be involved, I can’t wait to get started and grow the Gold club into something even more rewarding for fellow fans!”

Paula Wilson continued “I’m really proud to be a part of the Dundee Stars Gold Club, as a member and now coordinator.”

“As a passionate supporter of the club, this is my way of giving back and helping strengthen something that means a lot to me and so many others.”

“Volunteering with the Gold Club is a fantastic opportunity to contribute off the ice and help build something even more exciting for our fan community.”
