Glasgow opened the scoring through Rob Lachowicz, who tipped Darien Kielb’s shot from the point past Jarrett Fiske at 01:34 to make it 1-0. Kielb made it 2-0 shortly after, firing a shot from the high slot through traffic past Fiske at 03:37.
Matt Berry had the best chance for the Stars just after the ten minute mark, intercepting a pass and emerging on a partial breakaway. Despite this, Sami Aittokallio made a key save to keep the score 2-0 heading into the first intermission.

A high-sticking call against Griffin Luce proved costly, with Jason Fram blasting a slapshot on the powerplay past Fiske to extend the visitors lead at 36:13.
Tensions rose around the halfway mark when Matt Boudens dropped the gloves with Steven Seigo, much to the delight of the 2,114 in attendance.
Matt Berry got the Stars on the board late in the period to make it 3-1, taking a feed from Spencer Naas and rifling a wrist shot over Aittokallio’s glove in close at 39:38.

Keanu Yamamoto made it a one goal game at 45:23, showcasing a high level of skill and patience to roof a tight-angle shot over the shoulder of Aittokallio. Tristin Langan sealed the win for the Clan late, emerging on a two-on-one breakaway and firing a shot under the pads of Fiske at 57:47.
