The Clan pushed to get on the scoresheet late in the first, but Emil Kruse turned aside all 13 shots he faced to keep Dundee ahead 2-0 heading into the first intermission.
It didn’t take long for the Stars to strike again, as Spencer Naas made it 3-0 less than a minute into the second period at 20:44. Aittokallio made an initial save on a Dundee shot, however the rebound fell kindly for Naas who wasted no time firing it into the Clan net.
