The MKM Dundee Stars’ 2025/26 season comes to an end this weekend as they take on the Fife Flyers in a Tayside derby doubler-header.

Marc LeFebvre’s men were on the wrong end of a 4-0 result against the Clan in Glasgow on Wednesday, and will be looking to bounce back against their local rivals.

“I thought we were very poor in the first period — Kruse made some outstanding saves to keep us going,” said LeFebvre post-game. “We had some great penalty kills in the second and came back into it with some good looks on the power play, then I thought the third period was very mundane. I thought we were very perimeter, credit to the Clan for keeping us to the outside for most of the night. We just didn’t create any offence, I don’t think we had more than four or five grade-A chances.”

Dundee and Fife have both claimed two wins apiece in the season series so far, with the Stars winning the most recent meeting just over a month ago.

Kameron Kielly leads the Stars offensively against the Flyers with six points, followed by Drydn Dow on five, while Spencer Naas leads all active players with four goals.

Meanwhile, Johan Porsberger leads both Fife and all players with seven points, followed by Ian Scheid on four.

The Flyers currently sit bottom of the Elite League standings on 24 points, and have lost each of their last seven games.
