The Kitmart Dundee Stars and Carrick Management are excited to have agreed an initial one-year partnership which will see the Dundee-based consultancy business become a commercial sponsor of the club.

The confirmation of the new deal is a timely boost given the major disruption of cash flow felt across the entire sport during the extended lockdown period and perhaps acts as an indicator that sponsorship opportunities will open up again, now that the sport is close to returning.

Carrick Management branding is set to appear on the new Dundee Stars jerseys and around Dundee Ice Arena.

Carrick Management is a Dundee-based specialist in business improvement, who are fundamentally entrepreneurial in their approach to creating better outcomes for their colleagues.

Speaking about the new partnership, Managing Director of Carrick Management, Harry MacLean said: “As part of our ethos, we aim to be involved across our community and the commercial opportunities with Dundee Stars are of outstanding value.

“Dundee Stars operate at the highest level of ice hockey in the UK and we are delighted to support their efforts to compete at this elite level.

“We have been very impressed with Omar Pacha’s vision of where the Stars want to be but more importantly how they want to get there.

“Carrick Management are delighted with how the Stars do business and share our similar ambitions.”

Meanwhile, Dundee Stars General Manager and Head Coach, Omar Pacha, of Dundee Stars commented: “We are extremely excited to have Carrick Management on board.

“It’s great to have a organisation that is extremely ambitious and wanting to grow side by side with us.

“Their passion for sport and the local community is something, as a club, we value immensely!”

Also, Dundee Stars Commercial and Community Manager, Michael Ward added: “We are over the moon to secure our first new Commercial Sponsor of the year and believe that with the team at Carrick Management on board for season 2020/21, we can really push forward and create better outcomes for more and more people in our local community.”

“Both our organisations share similar views in that we want to make the city of Dundee and the surrounding areas a better place to live and work, while also showing that opportunities exist for all ages, regardless of ethnicity and the background they come from.”

The Kitmart Dundee Stars are also delighted to announce that we will be extending our early-bird season ticket prices until the announcement of our first fixture of the season.

We believe this gives all our fans the best possible chance to buy or renew their season tickets for the coming season.

The league directors/owners are having regular meetings and we will keep everyone up to date on the start date, once the government guidelines allow our great sport to resume.
