The MKM Dundee Stars are delighted to announce the return of Craig Moore for the 2026/27 season.

Moore, who can play at both forward and defence, returns for his fifth consecutive season in Dundee and eighth overall with the Stars.

Born in Kirkcaldy, Moore represented Scotland at the Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 level before heading to North America to continue his development. He spent two seasons with the Ogden Mustangs (WSHL), recording 56 points in 83 games while serving as an alternate captain during his final season.

He then joined the Stars ahead of the 2015/16 campaign, and has since gone on to make 464 EIHL appearances across spells with Dundee, Cardiff Devils, Fife Flyers, Glasgow Clan and Nottingham Panthers.

Internationally, Moore has represented Great Britain at both the Under-18 and Under-20 level, captaining the side to a gold medal at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship Division II Group A tournament.

Speaking on his return to Dundee, Moore said:

“I’m delighted to be back. Dundee has welcomed me for a long time, and with everything happening around the club this season, it feels like a really exciting time to be involved.

“I just want to win and be part of something successful. Whether I’m playing defence or forward, I’ll do whatever I can to help the team and contribute in any way possible.”

Head Coach Scott Dutertre added:

“Moore is a real Swiss Army knife type of player. He can play up front or on the back end, and that versatility is a huge asset for us.

“If he’s playing forward, I like defencemen who can kill penalties on that side of the puck as well, so that could be a role for him.

“He’ll do whatever it takes to be in the lineup, and having players with that kind of hunger creates competition throughout the group.”

Moore is our 6th signing of the summer, joining Josh Nelson, Jonathan McBean, Ben Brown, Travis Ewanyk and Keaton Jameson on next season’s roster.
