Scott Dutertre’s men are coming off a midweek victory over the Glasgow Clan, having fought back from 3-5 down to secure a 6-5 overtime win.
“I thought we competed hard, but at times we gave the game back,” reflected Dutertre. “We kept on doing some good things, then gave the puck back and it ended up in the back of our net. In the third period I thought we picked up our pace and battled a little bit harder, then when we had that powerplay we took advantage of it.”
Keaton Jameson scored a hat trick against his former team, while Sebastian Bengtsson, Travis Ewanyk and Gary Haden all recorded multi-point nights. Rasmus Nousiainen also registered a Gordie Howe hat trick, contributing a goal, an assist and a fight.
“It was awesome,” said Jameson on his hat trick. “It’s always nice to get rewarded, especially with the start that we’ve had. Hopefully this win can get us going in the right direction.”

The Fife Flyers have enjoyed a successful start to their 2026/27 campaign, compiling a 6-4-1 record across all competitions, including wins over the Stars, Sheffield Steelers, Glasgow Clan and Guildford Flames.
Last Saturday, the Flyers claimed a commanding 10-2 victory over the Guildford Flames before falling 3-2 to the Nottingham Panthers on Sunday.
Dundee and Fife last met at the end of last month, when the Flyers picked up a 3-2 overtime victory at Fife Ice Arena.
Several Flyers have found the back of the net against the Stars this season, with Victor Bjorkung leading the way with two goals and an assist. Michael Drábek has recorded three assists, while Xander Lamppa, Zach Power and Mika Partanen have all scored against Dundee.
Brodi Stuart, Maxim Eliseev and Keaton Jameson have all scored against Fife, with Jameson also recording an assist. Carl Stankowski has posted a combined .930 save percentage against the Flyers.
“I’m excited,” said Jameson about facing another former team. “It’s another opportunity to get some important cup points. If we can build from the positives from Wednesday’s win we will be successful.”
“We need to play a full 60 minutes,” added Dutertre. “If you take shifts off against Fife they will take advantage. If we trust each other to do our jobs, we’ll be fine.”
