This marks the second time Inglis and McBean have represented Great Britain at the tournament, having both been selected for its inaugural edition last season.
This year also saw Inglis take a significant step in his international career, wearing a letter for Great Britain for the first time. He was named Alternate Captain alongside Manchester Storm defenceman Brad Jenion, with longtime Nottingham Panthers forward Ollie Betteridge serving as Captain.
Throughout the tournament, Inglis featured on the top defensive pair alongside a rotating selection of partners, while McBean was a fixture on the second forward line alongside Betteridge and Belfast Giants forward Carter Hamill.
Great Britain’s first matchup came against Italy, with Pete Russell’s men falling 3-0 in a closely contested battle. The following day, they took on Ukraine in another hard-fought matchup but were ultimately defeated 5-1, with Logan Neilson scoring the lone GB goal.
They wrapped up their tournament earlier today with a 4-1 loss against the hosts, Poland, as McBean’s linemate Hamill got on the scoresheet.
Everyone at the MKM Dundee Stars would like to congratulate Inglis and McBean on representing Great Britain on the international stage, and we look forward to seeing them pull on the GB jersey again in the future.
