The Kitmart Dundee Stars are delighted to announce that Saturday 7th December’s game versus Fife Flyers ( face off 7.00pm ) will be our annual Teddy Bear Toss game. You can buy tickets HERE!
After yet another record breaking amount of cuddly toys hit the ice last season, we continue this ice hockey tradition for the benefit of the Ninewells Hospital Children’s Ward and Tay FM Mission Christmas.
On the night members of the TayFM team will be in attendance, look out for more details.
Dundee Stars Commercial and Community Manager, Michael Ward looked ahead to this season’s teddy toss fixture commenting;
“The Teddy Toss game has always been a fantastic night and this year will be extra special.”
“We will be hosting the Fife Flyers that night and TayFM will be in attendance too, so we are hopeful of smashing the record from last season.”
“Stars fans have truly bought into the tradition and it is a great sight to see the those cuddly toys hit the ice, after the first Dundee Stars goal of the night.”
“With the assistance and support of our fans, it has allowed us to further strengthen our connection with the local community at a very important and emotional time of year.”
There will be a bucket collection on the night for those who wish to donate by cash also. All funds collected will then be changed into toy gift vouchers for each cause.
During the week commencing Monday 9th December, the Stars in the Community team and players will be out in force to donate all the toys and vouchers collected.
Thanks in advance from everyone at Dundee Stars, for your amazing support!
