Scott Dutertre’s men are coming off a difficult weekend, first falling 3-0 to the Cardiff Devils on Saturday before suffering an 8-2 defeat to the Coventry Blaze on Sunday.
“We did a lot of positive things,” said Dutertre. “No matter what we battled through to the end of both games. You can see that our guys are buying into what we have been working on, unfortunately on Sunday we did not get the saves that we needed.”

The Glasgow Clan have struggled to begin their 2026/27 campaign, having failed to pick up a point in their opening seven regular-season contests and compiling an overall record of 2-8-2 across all competitions.
Following their difficult start, the Clan recently announced the departure of head coach Mike Sirant, who took over from Corey Neilson midway through last season and guided the club to Playoff Finals Weekend. Assistant coach Steven Birnstill and his supporting staff have taken charge on an interim basis and will look to get off on the right foot against the Stars.
“We can’t worry about what Glasgow is going through,” added Dutertre. “We need to focus on what we are doing and keep building and believing in what we do.”
The sides last met just over two weeks ago, with the Stars picking up a 5-3 victory at the Dundee Ice Arena. Rasmus Nousiainen scored a third-period hat trick, while Travis Ewanyk also found the back of the net and Matt DeBoer scored his first professional goal. Carl Stankowski made 30 saves for the Stars, earning the first win of his professional career.
The Clan saw goals from Mick Messner, Cade Neilson and Julius Reini, with Neilson and Reini both recording multiple points against the Stars.
Glasgow currently sit in third place in Challenge Cup Group B with six points, three points ahead of the Stars in fourth. Dundee will look to close that gap beginning tonight.
Faceoff is scheduled for 7:30pm.
