STATS OF THE STARS: ALL-TIME STARTING SIX PART 5

Today, we bring you a special version of Stats of the Stars that is aimed at helping you make your decision when voting begins on tomorrow.

This article will compare the statistics of the 16 centermen that we have selected to be in with a chance of winning the starting position at center ice in our all-time starting six.

However, you can still send in your own suggestions for other players we have not listed by using #StarsStartingSix.

Firstly, we begin by looking at how many games each center played for the club and this includes both regular season and playoff matches.

After his stellar start to leading the Stars to a British National League Championship and Playoff Title, Hand knocked up a massive tally of points across his two seasons in Dundee. However, two-time Stanley Cup Champion, Priestlay posted a lot of points during his brief stay.

Kashirsky has done well to reach high up this table with just a single season under his belt and is well amongst the BNL players that dominated British Hockey in the club’s early years.

Finnish superstar, Ryhanen is the most impressive player in this table, totalling 70 assists in only 61 games played but other key players such as Witta have also left a lasting impact.

Each player’s total number of penalty minutes was next to be ranked and while some people see more as better, you typically want to spend more time on the ice than in the box.

Corcoran has shown his strong discipline whilst consistently scoring but there were also some high-scoring players who liked to get involved in the gritty parts of the game.
