The Kitmart Dundee Stars are delighted to announce the signing of forward Matt Bissonnette.
Matt joins the club as a well-known name in the EIHL following spells with Manchester Storm and Belfast Giants. Matt has recorded 48 points in 57 games during his time in the United Kingdom.
Stars GM Omar Pacha knows Matt well and was delighted to bring him to Dundee commenting, “Bizz was a key part of our squad a few years back at Manchester. He is a guy that has great vison and a fantastic work ethic. He brings a bit of everything to our side; he has size, can slow the game down and can be a pivotal playmaker for us this season”.
Matt, who hails from Beaconsfield in Quebec, shared his delight at joining the Stars organisation commenting, “as soon as Pach gave me the call I was extremely excited, he got the best out of me at Manchester. Coming to Dundee is exciting, I know a number of guys that have played there and they have only said good things. I am looking forward to my time at the club”.
