The Stars are coming off a 6-2 midweek defeat to the Guildford Flames at the Spectrum.
Kameron Kielly and Bradley Schoonbaert both scored, extending their individual point streaks to three games.
“We just never found our feet — kind of in quicksand most of the night,” said head coach Marc LeFebvre post-game. “Guildford have a lot of speed and play with a lot of tenacity, especially at home, and we weren’t able to nullify that. I can’t really blame the players, it wasn’t a lack of effort, we just made some mental mistakes at the end, and it cost us.”

Dundee and Coventry met last weekend at the Skydome, where the Blaze skated away with a 6-3 victory.
Spencer Naas and Bradley Schoonbaert both scored for the Stars, while Drydn Dow recorded a two-point night and Emil Kruse made 39 saves.
Adam Robbins scored twice for the Blaze, while Grayson Constable, Kim Tallberg, William Boysen and Alessio Luciani also found the back of the net.
The following night, Kevin Moore’s men suffered a 4-2 defeat to the Sheffield Steelers, while the Stars picked up a 5-2 victory over the Fife Flyers.
“We need to start like we did against Fife and go after them from the get-go,” said LeFebvre. “It’s a good team. They’ve probably been the best team in form over the last month. They work extremely hard, and we’ve got to match that.”

Dundee and Belfast last met just under a month ago, when the Giants claimed a 3-1 win at the SSE Arena.
Morten Jürgens scored the lone Stars goal, while Nicolas Guay and David Goodwin scored for the Giants, along with Marcus Eriksson, who has since departed the Northern Irish side.
Since then, Belfast have won four of their last seven games and claimed a point in five of those contests.
Defenceman Mike Lee leads the Giants with 39 points in 38 games and sits fourth in overall league scoring. J.J. Piccinich, meanwhile, has recorded 13 points in his last 10 games and is currently riding a six-game point streak.
