Eliseev, 20, joins the Stars following an outstanding first full professional season with RB Hockey Juniors (AlpsHL), where he finished tied for second in league scoring with 66 points in just 44 games.
The Helsinki native developed through the Viikingit and Jokerit junior systems, winning the U18 SM-sarja silver medal in 2021/22 before adding a U20 SM-sarja silver medal the following season.
He made his senior debut with Jokerit (Mestis) during the 2024/25 campaign, appearing in eight games and recording four points, before signing with RB Hockey Juniors ahead of last season.
Eliseev led his side with 33 goals and 66 points, finishing second in league goal scoring and tied for second in league point scoring en route to being named the inaugural Alps Hockey League Young Star of the Season.
Internationally, Eliseev has represented Finland at the U17, U18 and U20 level, winning bronze at the 2022 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
Speaking about his move to Scotland, Eliseev said:
“I haven’t been to Scotland before, so I’m really excited to see it.”
Describing his style of play, he added:
“I would describe myself as a speedy forward. I can throw some hits, and I like to score goals.”
Finally, Eliseev shared a message for Stars fans:
“I’m really excited to play in front of you. I want to see how great the city is and how great the fans are there.”
Head Coach Scott Dutertre commented on how Eliseev will be able to grow as a player in Dundee:
“You watch him offensively and he’s just got a touch around the net. For us, our veteran players who can generate offence will complement him, and in the end it’s going to help him become a more established professional because he’ll be playing with those guys.”
Eliseev is our 20th signing of the summer, joining Josh Nelson, Jonathan McBean, Ben Brown, Travis Ewanyk, Keaton Jameson, Craig Moore, Evan Brand, Tyson Laventure, Gary Haden, Matt DeBoer, Zack Hoffman, Brodi Stuart, Kris Inglis, Sebastian Bengtsson, Vladislav Pestov, Sean Strange, Rasmus Nousiainen, Duggie Lagrone and Carl Stankowski on next season’s roster.
