Coventry opened the scoring early at 03:34 through Grayson Constable following extended pressure in the offensive zone. Alessio Luciani displayed strong patience in front of the Stars’ net to outwait Emil Kruse before feeding Constable in the slot, who fired the puck home to make it 1-0.
John Curran responded on the Stars’ first powerplay of the night, making it 1-1 at 11:20 with a shot from the slot past Dershahn Stewart.
Keanu Yamamoto then gave Dundee their first lead of the night at 16:43, beating Stewart with a snapshot from the left circle.

Bradley Schoonbaert made it 3-1 early in the second period, redirecting Yamamoto’s shot past Stewart at 21:20.
Yamamoto found himself alone in front of the Blaze net and beat Stewart in close to score his second of the night, making it 4-1 at 28:23.
The Stars added a fifth through Spencer Naas, who beat Stewart from a tight angle at 33:40.
Grant Mismash pulled a goal back for the Blaze shortly after, firing home from the high slot past Kruse at 35:58.
Luciani made it 5-3 late in the second period, pouncing on a rebound after Kruse made an initial stop on Connor Russell.

Mismash scored his second of the game at 46:45, making it a one-goal game with a shot from the right circle past Kruse.
Despite a late comeback attempt from the Blaze, an empty-net goal from Drydn Dow sealed a 6-4 win for the Stars.
